NGC 129 (Cr2) is a galactic cluster in Cassiopeia
Magnitude: 6.5v
Trumpler Classification: III2m
Apparent Size: 21'
Distance: 5,300 ly
Physical size: 30 ly.
Age: 80 Mil. Yrs.

Although a young cluster, a few stars have already reached the supergiant stage. One of these DL Cassiopeia (the bright yellow/orange star left and down from the center of the image) is also a Cepheid variable and is used to refine distance measurements to the cluster.

Normalized with Green background.
Post combine Log stretch.
Boosted color saturation by 70%
Applied a Gaussian blur.
